Oyelearn certificates and how to verify them

Every Oyelearn certificate carries its own code. Anyone, anywhere, can use that code to check that the certificate is real and still valid.

A sample Oyelearn certificate of completion: the learner's name, the path Backend foundations, the date, Oyelabs as issuer, a QR code and a verification link.

Three kinds of certificate

Course: for finishing a course in your plan.

Path: for finishing a whole path (a track) of topics in your plan.

Goal: for reaching a goal you and your lead set.

What a certificate shows

The holder’s name, what they completed, the date, Oyelabs as the issuer, and a verification code with a matching QR code and link.

You can download it as a PDF or an image, and add it to LinkedIn under Licenses & certifications with the verification link as the credential URL.

Verify a certificate

Open learn.oyegen.com/verify/ followed by the code (it starts with OYL-), or scan the QR code on the certificate. You don’t need an account.

The page shows the holder’s name, what they completed and when, and whether the certificate is valid. If a certificate has been withdrawn, it says revoked.

Privacy

A verification page shows only what’s printed on the certificate. Verification pages are kept out of search engines, so a certificate is found only by people you share it with.
